Trail Angel Central is creating the first, world wide, trail angel conference to gather the best and most seasoned trail angels for a meeting of the minds on Trail Angeling. At Trail Angel Central, we feel there are best practices in this loosely created space that could benefit from those sharing what works best to connect Trail Angels and Hikers for Success.
Trail Angel Central was created in 2022 when organizers, who were both hikers and trail angels, realized big gaps in how hikers and trail angels found and communicated to each other. After researching and asking hikers and angels how they found each other, it was obvious that some better practices could be developed and shared to help with Trail Angel and Hiker success. That simple and wide mission of “Connecting Hikers and Trail Angels for Success” has been the mission ever since. The conference is a gathering to share what works best and then document and share those best practices on the website for trail angels around the world to adopt.
This first time unique event will occur May 29-31, 2026 in Pinecrest, California, a trail town for the Pacific Crest Trail in the central Sierras. Although this event will take place in a PCT trail town, the conference is open to trail angels and hikers world wide.
