Ted is now having hip surgery done this summer in May and August and currently can not host any hikers this summer (2023) or at least until late August.
Please check back next year (2024) to see if this venue is available.
Starting in the summer 2023, Ted in Keno, Oregon (near Klamath Falls) is offering a PCT hiker hosting services.

Ted’s Barn (A regular house shaped like a barn) can be accessed from two highway crossings. The best connection is located about 21.8 miles from the PCT trail junction (Pederson Trail Head) on Dead Indian Memorial. (see map below)

A second option is also the junction of highway 66 at PCT crossing. It is 36 miles from the PCT crossing to Ted’s PCT Trail Angel Barn.

Ted’s Barn is located 12 miles from Klamath Falls OR where there are more services.
You can hitch from these PCT crossing points to Ted’s Barn or Ted may be able to pick up hikers a few days a week.
Services offered at Ted’s Barn
At our cabin we can offer showers, beds for for about 5 persons, free wi-fi and hopefully we can share a meal together. We also have an hand wash laundry station with clothes lines and full size washing machine. We also have a hot tub, heated above ground pool, zip line, climbing wall, and volley ball net.
We also offer a flat grassy area which would work fine for several tents.
Nearby in Keno (2 miles away) there is a reasonable grocery store, Post office (97627).
Klamath Falls is 12 miles away with more services, Walmart, Big 5 Sporting goods,

Ted is busy with several projects, and this PCT Trail Angel Host option is only available certain days of the week and completely closed when he is out town.
So please check and confirm that this PCT Trail Angel hosting is available before arriving.
